A Bit about St. Augustine:

St. Augustine is over 400 years old. It is known as the oldest city in the United States, and is widely recognized as a favorite place to visit for historic, old world charm.

Ponce de Leon first explored the area of St. Augustine, located on the northeastern coast of Florida, in 1513. In 1565, Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles landed at the site of a Native American Timucuan village, fortified it against the French, and christened it St. Augustine.

Over the years, St. Augustine has evolved from a tiny Spanish town, complete with scandals, rogues, pirates, and intrigue, to an extravagant luxury destination during the Golden Age, to today’s bustling, flourishing community of artists, historians, tourists, and nature lovers.
